Last night we celebrated our 8th anniversary in true style—with cake, karaoke, dancing, and lots of laughter! We are incredibly happy to have been here for 8 whole years, which is a massive milestone for an independent company, especially considering the daily challenges and obstacles we face. We are happy to invite you to celebrate our 8th anniversary together with an unforgettable festive evening filled with excitement and many surprises! The highlight of the event will be the premiere of our new children's film Issun Boshi, which combines live-action cinema with the magic of Japanese 'Takeda' marionettes. In addition, we will be presenting the newest titles from our Japanese children's book series—the fairy tale stories of Kintaro and Urashima Taro. We can't wait to see you!

Can you imagine losing everything you have in just a single moment? And have you ever heard of the kingdom of eternal youth? We are happy to present our newest book, which tells the story of a poor fisherman with a kind heart, ready to give his very last money to save a turtle. His kindness, however, is richly rewarded and he receives a life he hadn't even dreamed of! But will this happiness last forever?

The strongest boy in the world! He lives in Mount Ashigara, and his mother is a man-eating witch. Kintaro grows up rough and clumsy, but destiny confronts him with challenges he never expected. The boy travels a long path that makes him realize that strength is not the most important thing, teaching him patience and compassion.

We are thrilled to share the upcoming premiere of our new children's film Issun Boshi, which beautifully combines live-action cinema with the magic of traditional Japanese 'Takeda' style marionettes. The movie transports us into a magical world and tells the adventures of a boy only as tall as a grain of rice, who gathers all his courage to face the terrifying monster Oni. From March 14th to 23rd, our company was at a theater festival in Mississauga, Canada – PUPPET FESTIVAL MISSISSAUGA, and it was wonderful! In addition to performing our show 'The Samurai's Daughter' twice to a full house, we managed to explore Ontario, walk around Toronto, and even see the majestic Niagara Falls! We are so happy to have had the opportunity to experience this incredible adventure. We thank Crane Creations for the invitation and the wonderful organization. We also thank the National Culture Fund for the financial support.

We will be presenting our show 'The Samurai's Daughter' to the Canadian audience twice. We invite you to a PREMIERE! The new performance 'The Long Road to School' by the '100 Hands' Puppet Theater combines puppetry, impressive 3D mapping, and original music into a spectacular stage adventure. The story introduces us to Zhivko, whose latest delay on an ordinary Monday morning turns into an incredible journey through the city and his own imagination. Along his way, he encounters monsters, firefighters, and a mysterious wanderer, discovering what truly matters in this world between reality and fantasy.

The 'Takeda Theater for Children' course, which we organized for the second consecutive year in cooperation with the Japanese Culture Center 'Kokoro', has successfully concluded. The children did an excellent job mastering our marionettes, which are quite challenging to control! What they achieved in such a short period is truly impressive, and we are incredibly proud of the immense enthusiasm they brought to every session. During our final class, the young actors performed their 'Takeda' show for their parents and received certificates for a job well done. We thank everyone who took part. We also extend our gratitude to JCC 'Kokoro' for the partnership and cooperation!

Senju Puppet Company participated in the 18th edition of the 'Kruška' Festival in Kruševac, Serbia, performing two successful shows of 'The Samurai's Daughter' to a wonderful audience! Despite the cold weather, we had a great time exploring the city, and we were deeply honored to be invited to an official reception at the municipality by the town's mayor. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Kruševačko pozorište for the invitation, warm hospitality, and flawless support at every moment!

We are overjoyed to announce that our performance "The Samurai's Daughter" won the grand prize at the 18th edition of the "Kruška" Festival! The prestigious Zoran Lozančić Award for Best Directing and Overall Stage Design was presented to our wonderful director, Lyubomira Kostova. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Kruševačko pozorište for this immense recognition and warm hospitality—it was a true honor!

Senju Puppet Company was invited to an official reception by the mayor of Kruševac, Mr. Ivan Manojlović, which was also attended by the municipality team and the director of the local theater, Mr. Branislav Nedić. During the meeting, we shared our joy at participating in the 18th edition of the 'Kruška' Festival and expressed a strong hope for future creative partnerships. "The Samurai's Daughter" - the favourite Japanese puppet show of young and old is returning to Sofia, with a SURPRISE! For the first time, we will present to you the children's book "The Samurai's Daughter", created based on the play of the same name by Senju Puppet Company!

The first course "Takeda" Theater for Children" in collaboration with the Japanese Culture Center "Kokoro"! In addition to practical puppet management skills, participants will develop their imagination, learn more about Japanese culture and have fun.
